This painting is an abstract of a photo of two-year-old babies hanging out in the sunshine on a farm somewhere, maybe Kentucky.  I loved it and was so inspired to paint them because of the late afternoon sunshine casting great bright light and shadows on their coat.  The shapes of light and dark on their body make for such interesting artwork.  Do you see the contrast of light and dark?  Try to find artwork somewhere that looks flat and notice how maybe the light and dark is missing from it.
